Brown Fused Alumina BFA

Brown corundum is made by smelting bauxite,anthracite and iron fillings at high temperature in electric arc furnace.The main chemical compostion of brown corundum is Al₂O₃,and its content is 95%-97%,containing a small amount of Fe,Si,Ti and so on.

Brown corundum has good high temperature resistance,corrosion resistance and other properties, widely used in iron and steel,cement, glass and othe industries of thermal equipment,and also is irreplaceable high-grade refractory material in chemical industry.Because of iths high hardness and good grinding performance,it is an indispensable main material for all kinds of abrasives in the manufacturing industry.

Secondary refining

All brown corundum is refined twice for an additional three hours after industry standard smelting time,in order to improve product quality.

After smelting,the brown corundum blocks are manually screened and graded by workers to ensure that each batch is a high-quality product.

6 Functional fillers-ued for automotive brake parts,special tires,special construction products ,etc,wear-resistant materials for the airstrip,dock,parking,industril floor,sports venues.

7 Filter medium-using granular abrasive as the bottom medium of the filter bed,purifying drinking water or wastewater;suitable for non-ferrous metal beneficiation;oil drilling mud weighting agent.

8 Hydraulic cutting-abrasive as the cutting medium,relying on high pressure hydraulic jet for basic cutting, used in the cutting of oil pipelne,steel and other parts.
