The backing base is made of high-strength fabric base, and the seams have been reinforced, making it less likely to break the belt during high-speed grinding and more stable for heavy-duty tasks.

It offers a full range of coarse and fine specifications, from coarse for rust removal and deburring to fine for polishing and wire drawing. Different mesh sizes are available. Coarse grinding for removing oxide and welding slag, and fine grinding for surface wire drawing and polishing. With just one set of abrasive belts, all tasks can be accomplished, without the need to switch tools back and forth.

1/Before starting the machine, make sure to check the following: When installing the abrasive belt, the arrow direction must be consistent with the running direction of the abrasive belt machine. Reversing the installation will directly cause the joint of the abrasive belt to crack, abrasive particles to fall off, and even the equipment to get stuck and stop.
2/Appropriate rotational speed: Do not operate beyond the rated rotational speed of the equipment. Operating at an excessively high speed will cause the abrasive belt to heat up and deform, and the substrate to break. There is a safety risk.
3/Control the grinding pressure: Do not use brute force to press the workpiece hard. The grinding efficiency of the abrasive belt depends on the abrasive cutting. Excessive pressure will accelerate the wear of the abrasive belt and burn the surface of the workpiece, and it may also cause the abrasive belt to deviate.
4/Ensure safety protection is in place: During operation, you must wear goggles and a dust mask. Grinding metal will produce iron filings and dust. To avoid splashing in the eyes or inhaling the dust, it is necessary to prevent injury.
5/Handling of abrasive belt deviation: If the abrasive belt deviates to one side during operation, immediately stop the machine and adjust the guide wheel of the equipment. Do not use your hands to bend the abrasive belt while the machine is running.
6/Storage requirements: The abrasive belt should be placed in a dry and cool place to avoid moisture and direct sunlight. Moist abrasive belts with fabric bases will become soft and lose tension, and are prone to breakage during grinding.

1/Standard Packaging: Each sand belt is packed in a PE dust-proof bag, 10 pieces per inner box, and the outer box is reinforced with five layers of corrugated cardboard. Bubble pads are added inside the box to prevent deformation and squeezing.
2/Custom Packaging: Customized packaging can be done according to customer requirements, such as neutral white boxes or color boxes. Customer logos and specification information can be printed.
3/Moisture-proof Treatment: All sand belts will undergo moisture-proof treatment before packaging. The outer box will be covered with waterproof PE film during sea transportation to prevent condensation and moisture inside the container.
International Transportation Instructions
1/Transportation Channels: Supports sea transportation, air transportation, and international express (DHL/UPS/FEDEX). It has no flammable or explosive properties and is not classified as dangerous goods. Customs clearance is convenient.
2/Marking & Documents: The default provides neutral marking, and marking can be made according to customer requirements. Commercial invoices, packing lists, and origin certificates and other regular customs clearance documents can be provided.
3/Damage Guarantee: If sand belts deform or the joints crack during transportation, feedback will be provided within 3 working days after signing for the delivery. We will free of charge re-send them.
4/MOQ and Delivery Time: The regular particle size has sufficient inventory and can be shipped within 3-5 days. Customized sizes / particle sizes orders have a delivery time of 7-15 days. The specific delivery time will be confirmed according to the order quantity.

 

Q1: What processes is P60 abrasive belt suitable for?

A: P60 is a coarse-grained abrasive belt, mainly used for weld grinding, metal deburring, wood rough planing, rust removal, etc. It has strong cutting force and is not suitable for fine polishing. For fine polishing, it is recommended to choose a grit size of P180 or above.

Q2: Why does the abrasive belt joint crack?

A: Most cracking problems occur when the installation direction is reversed or the equipment guide wheel is not adjusted properly, causing the abrasive belt to deviate and be pulled; in addition, running at an excessive speed and applying excessive grinding pressure can also accelerate the damage of the joint. After receiving the product, you can first idle for 1 minute to confirm that the abrasive belt is running smoothly before applying the workpiece.

Q3: Can the abrasive belt be customized for non-standard sizes?

A: Yes, we have a cutting machine and joint equipment. As long as you provide the circumference and width of the abrasive belt machine, we can customize according to your equipment size. There is no additional mold cost, and there will be discounts for large quantities.

Q4: Do different materials require different abrasive belts for grinding?

A: Our brown corundum abrasive belt is suitable for carbon steel, stainless steel and wood. Generally, no replacement is needed in normal conditions; if grinding aluminum alloys or copper parts, it is recommended to use a soft cloth base abrasive belt. The hard cloth base of brown corundum is prone to clogging chips, affecting the grinding effect.

Q5: How long can the abrasive belt be stored before it becomes ineffective?

A: In a dry and cool environment, it can be stored normally for 1-2 years without affecting its usability. However, if it gets damp, moldy, or exposed to direct sunlight for a long time, the fabric base will become brittle and the abrasive particles will easily fall off. It is recommended to use it as soon as possible after receiving it or store it sealed.
