Brown Fused Alumina, commonly known as emery, is a brown artificial corundum produced through the smelting and reduction of primary raw materials such as bauxite and coke (or anthracite) in an electric furnace, hence its name. The main chemical component of Brown Fused Alumina is Al₂O₃, with a content ranging from 94.5% to 97%, along with small amounts of Fe, Si, Ti, and other elements. Abrasives made from Brown Fused Alumina are suitable for grinding metals with high tensile strength, such as various general-purpose steels, malleable cast iron, and hard bronze. It can also be used to produce advanced refractory materials. Brown Fused Alumina is characterized by high purity, good crystallisation, strong fluidity, a low coefficient of linear expansion, and corrosion resistance. Verified through practical applications by dozens of refractory production enterprises, this product exhibits features such as no bursting, no pulverisation, and no cracking during use. Particularly, its cost-effectiveness, far superior to traditional Brown Fused Alumina, makes it the ideal aggregate and filler for Brown Fused Alumina-based refractory materials.

Application Scope
Used in the production of high-grade refractory materials, such as castables, refractory bricks, etc.
Sandblasting -- With moderate hardness, high bulk density, no free silica, high specific gravity, and good toughness, this abrasive is an ideal "environmentally friendly" sandblasting material. It is widely used in various fields including aluminum profiles, copper profiles, glass, stone-washed denim, and precision molds.
Free Grinding -- As a grinding-grade abrasive, it is employed in the free grinding of materials like picture tubes, optical glass, monocrystalline silicon, lenses, watch glass, crystal glass, and jade. It is a widely adopted high-grade abrasive material in China.
Resin Abrasive Tools -- Featuring suitable color, good hardness, toughness, appropriate grain shape, and edge retention, this abrasive performs ideally when used in resin-bonded abrasive tools.
Coated Abrasive Tools -- This abrasive serves as a raw material for manufacturers producing items like sandpaper and abrasive cloth.
