Brown corundum is made by smelting bauxite,anthracite and iron fillings at high temperature in electric arc furnace.The main chemical compostion of brown corundum is Al2O3,and its content is 95%-97%,containing a small amount of Fe,Si,Ti and so on.
Brown corundum has good high temperature resistance,corrosion resistance and other properties, widely used in iron and steel,cement, glass and othe industries of thermal equipment,and also is irreplaceable high-grade refractory material in chemical industry.Because of iths high hardness and good grinding performance,it is an indispensable main material for all kinds of abrasives in the manufacturing industry.
