Green silicon carbide production method is basically the same as black silicon carbide,but the requirements for raw materials are different.Green silicon carbide is made from petroleum coke and quartz sand as the main raw materials,adding salt as an additive,in the furnace by high temperature smelting.It is green crystalline,brittle and sharp,and has some thermal and electrical conductivity.Its hardness is between corundum and diamound,and its mechanical strength is higher than corundum.

Green silicon carbide manufacturing method is the same as black silicon carbide,but the raw material purity requirements are higher.It is alo formed at a high temperature of about 2200°C in the resistance furnace.It is green,translucent,and hexagonal shape.Its Sic content is higher than black,the physical properties are similar to black silicon carbide,but the performance is slightly more brittle,but also has better thermal conductivity and semiconductor characteristics.

The green silicon carbide powder is made by crushing the big crystal green silicon carbide,reshaping the grain by vertical ball mill,pickling water, hydraulic grading,and drying after natural sedimentation.Its quality is stable,crystallization is good,and surface cleanliness is high.There are no large particles,the content of fine particles is small,and the grain distribution is concentrated.So it is suitable for various grinding processing.The surface of the processed workpiece is uniform and there are no scratches.

Green silicon carbide W powder is a product of deep processing of green silicon carbide raw block by ultrafine grinding.The main equipment is Barmack crushing,Raymond mill or ball mill.The different mesh number is sorted out by ultrsonic screening system.Green silicon carbide W powder is mainly used for coatings,seals and so on.
